The medium-term management plan for the period from FYE 3/2023 to FYE 3/2025 has been revised from the numerical targets announced on May 10, 2024, in accordance with the revision of the full-year consolidated earnings forecast for FYE 3/2025(announced on December 26, 2024).

In the medium-term management plan announced on May 10, 2022, Semiconductors of the High-purity Chemical Business expected a growth in demand mainly from major customers. However, due to deteriorating conditions in the semiconductor market, shipment volumes began to decline in FYE 3/2023, and although market conditions are on a recovery trend in FYE 3/2025, Sales revenue is expected to be lower than the original plan.
While we have made efforts to pass on costs to product prices, we have revised our numerical targets for operating income and ROIC due to the impact of the decline in shipments and the fact that price of anhydrous hydrofluoric acid(AHF), a key raw material, is expected to remain at a higher level than originally planned, primarily due to the weaker yen.

The company has formulated a three-year medium-term management plan for the period from FYE 3/2023 to FYE 3/2025. For these three years, we have set "Aim for sustainable business growth while trialing new initiatives," "Promote the development of new products that make use of unique technologies" and "Responding to social demands as a listed company" as our basic issues and will work towards the realization of our goals.
